hello! I have a friend who is taking the following courses:
AP CALC AB
H PHYSICS
H US HISTORY
ENGLISH (dropped Honors)
FRENCH 2
is this a rigorous schedule?
For which grade? How does this schedule compare to the top students in the HS?

My highschool is competitive
Not that competitive. I would expect to see at least 3-5 AP course 11th grade unless the school offers few AP classes.
Yea it all depends on the school.
Our school is a very competitive school in our state, but our top students only take 1 AP 11th grade.
They don’t offer many, and we need 2 semesters of PE, and 8 semesters of religion courses. Therefore, it’s not easy to take a lot of AP’s, but we still have a competitive school.
For example, I took a regular english course 11th grade, but still got a 5 on the AP language and composition test.
So if that’s all that the school offers, then yes it is rigorous. But if you can take 4 AP’d junior year, it’s obviously not.
