Advice for heading towards law school

Here's the thing, I'm talking about myself but staying vague for God only knows what reason.lol.
So lets say you do pretty badly in 9th and 10th grade. Not because you couldn't do better but because of some stupid mistakes and also because your esperately trying to figure out what your interested in. Therefore, you get pretty awful grades for 2 yrs.
but then in 11th and 12th grade you find yourself and excel. You get mostly As and Bs, get a 1960 on your SAT but don't go to the best college that was possible (because you hadn't discovered college confidential..seriously folks).
Anyhow, so your majoring in English Literature and you maintain a veyr good GPA and take part in other great activites. Do you reckon there'll be problems for me if I want to go to a really great law school. I'm pretty ambitious but I don't want to be unrealistic. I'm starting college next month and I'm confident that I can do well but should I consider transferring to a better college in a yr or 2. I'm not necessarily aiming for an ivy league for law school but still somewhere very highly established. Any advice?

yes - stop worrying.

your grades in 9th and 10th grade will have no bearing on your ability to get into a good law school!!!! nor will your sat score.

go to college, do really well (not just because you want to go to law school, but because it is a good thing to do no matter what you end up wanting to do). when the time comes, study for the lsat so you can do well on that. once you know your college gpa and lsat score, you can begin to figure out what law schools you will be able to get in to. speculating now really doesn't do you much good. in the meantime, enjoy college.
