Can you still get a life insurance on your dad after being cancer free? This is the most important step she can take right now.
What about her attending the spring/summer semester? Often you can get the same courses in a much more condensed time frame, and your family could handle things at home during the summer while she was away, and visit more easily.
Update: She was interested in Western Governor’s and has been talking to guidance counselors there for the past week or so. It’s particularly appealing to her since she can get credit by passing a course’s final exam, but it doesn’t cost anything extra.
