Advice for Senior year Schedule

Some background stats about me - 4.65 W 3.96 UW, 34 ACT composite (second time, first time was 32), 770 chem subject test, 780 math subject test, verbally committed in a sport for UC, had an academic read when ACT was still 32 and got "assuming your performance continues to be stellar, you look like a strong candidate for admissions" (so I assume it'll be a little better with my 34 ACT?), female, asian, live in northeast. The only B I got was for the first semester in Honors English freshman year.

I'm a rising Sr in HS and am so agitated about the classes I should take next year :( Here're the AP's I've taken so far -

So - Government (5)
Jr - Chem, Language and Composition (scores not out yet)

And so far, my tentative Sr year schedule -
- AP Literature - I'm really debating this one - I know I'm not a strong writer although I somehow managed A's in Language. I'm considering dropping down to Honors English 12 to keep my GPA afloat.
- Honors Physics - my school is notoriously famous for their rigorous Physics course. Only 15% of the kids get A's in Honors and 10% in AP Physics. I will definitely keep this class but will most likely not get an A.
- AP Spanish Language - was planning not to continue with spanish, but I saw that I would have to take a language again in chicago if I don't get at least a 3 on the AP, and I feel I'll forget everything I know so far if I skip a year. My other option is AP Psychology, but UC doesn't accept that AP credit so I thought It won't look as good as AP spanish?
- BC Calculus - I took Honors Precalc this year, but want to challenge myself. I'm not sure if I can handle it though, and will see if I need to drop down to AB after the first few weeks.
- Gym - required
- Computer Programming 1 - taking this for sure
- AP Economy - taking this for sure

I plan on majoring in Computer Science. Bless anyone who read all this and I appreciate any advice!!

My school has the option of going from Honors PreCalc to BC. I don’t think it’s as drastic of a jump; it’s just that you’ll have to learn more information in a smaller amount of time. I’d say enroll in BC then change classes if the first or second week is too difficult.

I would go with AP Spanish. Lots of schools recommend 4 years of a foreign language.

I think if you dropped from an AP level to an honors level for english may bring up questions from admissions. I don’t think it’s significant however since you’re taking a higher level english class still.

I zoned out after I got to recruited athlete.

Actually I read the whole thing. If you got a positive pre-read with a 32 ACT, you’re a lock. Don’t sweat it.

Some suggestions. Continue with Spanish. One less requirement that you need to worry about in college. If you love to read take AP Lit; if you don’t, don’t. You’re probably going to max out on your AP credits anyway, so no reason to take the class for nothing.

I took Calc BC after precalc; it was fine. Good luck!!

Thank you so much for your replies!!
