Advice for someone pursuing a law career?

Hello, new here, made an account to ask this question and hopefully learn more.

I’m currently a senior in high school, and as of now I’m wanting to be an attorney and go to law school, but I’m very confused about which major to pick.

Many advise me to take something like English or Philosophy as those tend to help you a lot on the LSAT, but I’m very afraid that if I decide to not go to law school, I’ll be stuck with a useless major and no job. But if I choose a more useful major and I decide to go to law school, that major won’t help me at all and I’ll probably get a lower score on the LSAT.

This decision terrifies me whenever I think about it, so I was thinking that maybe some of you could help.

PS: I’ll more than likely be getting a full ride through college

Relax!!! You are overthinking this. Do not worry about choosing the “right” major to prepare for the LSAT. There really is no such thing. No matter what your major is, include some courses in reading and writing. You do not need to major in those subjects to develop your skills. Math and science develop reasoning skills too!
