Advice on majors?

Okay, so, I'm pretty sure I want to go to law school. I'm having trouble picking a major. Here's my tentative list, in descending order of likeliness, just based on personal preference:

History
Government/Politics/Poly Sci
American Studies
Sociology
Philosophy

Which of these is the best idea for law school? Also, if I were to go for a PhD in any of these fields, which is easiest to get a teaching job in? Thanks

It’s doesn’t matter what you major in for law school so if you like history the best I would choose history.

English is said to be one the best prep majors; your career will be spent reading and writing.

ditto res ipsa. Also, unless you’ve shadowed a couple of lawyers, you don’t know if you want to go to law school. Most lawyers I know tend to discourage people from going into that field. Then again, maybe I only know embittered lawyers… Anyway, make sure you get some experience, perhaps as an internship, during your undergrad years so you make the right post-baccalaureate decision for yourself.
