Advice for the SAT?

Hey guys! I’m taking the SAT on June 3rd and I’m looking for some tips and strategies. I recently took a practice test and scored 1000 out of 1600. I got a 520 on reading/writing and a 480 on the math. But I want to aim for a 1200 to meet the requirements of a college I want to attend. Any advice would be awesome.

Also I can take the SAT again in the fall as a senior. How much should I study over the summer? Thanks!

Sure you can retake it in Fall. If you are applying RD, there are several more test dates before application deadline. Note that there is even an August test date this year although some centers haven been full already.
