<p>It's a pretty good article, although there's not that much new in it. What I don't like about the article is that it makes it seem that someone who has a B+ or a B can't make it to any of the top, very selective schools and has to 'resort' to less selective schools, or "A+ options for B students." You can certainly get into the very selective schools with B's, and maybe even a C or two. It sends the right message that you can certainly get as good an education anywhere even if your academic record wasn't spotless, but it suggests that if you want to go to Yale and have a B, you shouldn't bother to apply there and should think about Allegheny or Reed instead. Although a B isn't as good as an A, it won't ruin your chances to a school.</p>
