Advice from those who got 750+ on Biology

Any advice on books or just studying methods in general from anyone who got over 750 on Biology?

I got a 740, i was really disappointed with 2 i know for sure stupid and really easy questions i got wrong. I felt like I shouldve (with my knowledge of biology/my favorite subject) gotten like a 780 or something . if you can lower your requirements by 10 points- ill tell you honestly to take AP. the test will seem really easy that way

lol, 750 was just an approximation. I would be very pleased with a 740  I took IB Biology this year, but I am looking for any advice on how to review further.

I used PR as a study aid for biology. Although I was probably more prepared due to my AP Biology class, the book was really effective in providing a quick review. I only got through 1/3 of the book the day before the test, but throughout that whole time my mind just flowed from page to page. I’m not guaranteeing that the book will be as effective for you as it was for me, but try to flip through it at the book store. Biology is an extensive subject so sometimes you’re bound to forgot a concept/fact or two. Oh, and look through the PR book like I said, but don’t study like me.

You should technically know everything if you’re that far in bio… I got a 780 with no studying, but took AP Bio this year.

Any advice for students who haven’t taken AP bio? I took a practice test on Sparknotes and got a 600, but it’s been a year since I’ve taken biology and I’ve forgot a ton of stuff…

Just go back and review the material again.

I took it after 10th grade and reviewed PR + Kaplan (since I was learning bio from a different syllabus). Understand the concepts, read the summaries, do the practise questions and you should be fine. I got 790.

I got 770 on Bio E. My advice is not to study “superficially”, meaning only what you would need for the test. Go into the details because then things will make much more sense, so it will be easier on the test itself. And STUDY STUDY STUDY plants and phylogeny.

and if ur good actually in the ap subject (like getting a solid A if it’s a hard class or you know you know everything), then u dont need to study at all (i didn’t). the subject test was weird, some questions were really easy but others are ap level questions (but the easier ones at that)
