<p>Some colleges require you have a certain TOEFL score before they consider you. No offense, but you’re going to need to brush up on your grammar if you want to write awesome essays O_o…</p>
<p>Beer me and I will advice you. Beer (a drink) and advice (a suggestion) are nouns–things that are given in this case. “Advise” is the verb that mean ‘the act of giving adtice.’ There is no ‘advices’ as advice is used for the singular and also the plural. I see that mistake a lot here.</p>
<p>If a college puts that on the webpage as a requirements then it is usually firm. However sometimes there is wiggle room. Did you score much higher than usual on your SAT CR? If you have all the other requirements, exceed them really, it won’t hurt to email admissions with you gpa and your SAT score breakdown and toefl and ask if you may still apply. I would do that if I was very interested in a school. However I would make sure there are no mistakes in the email. </p>
