Advice me!

Hello everyone. I would like to hear your opinion because I really want to attend UCR and I believe that receiving the opinion of UCR admitted/waitlisted/current students may allow for me to get a feel of the thoughts that circulate UCR students’ minds.

I’m waitlisted to UCR for the fall of 2015. I really want to go to a UC and I don’t know where I should SIR to by the May 1st deadline. My GPA is at a 3.1 and a SAT of 1610. I applied to UCR as an English major at CHASS. So now, I’m hesitant between SIR w/ San Francisco State University or going to a local community college. Thanks for the help!

Well - both are viable. If you want to graduate from UCR - a CC is a better choice. It is very difficult to transfer from a CSU to a UC. - If you’d be happy studying at and graduating from SFSU, go there.

Hopefully they were just being cautious with admissions this year, and they’ll let more people off the waitlist. Hopefully.
