Hey guys I need your advice. I know that in the long run, I want to be doctor but I still need to choose a college major. I’ve always been interested in the sciences and I’m really good at it but I’ve recently been interested in sketching and drawing. That’s when I saw the Visual Studies major at University of Pennsylvania where it combines psychology, neuroscience, and the arts! But the problem is I don’t think I’m that good at drawing. I would love to learn though.
Will that be a major problem? Sorry if this is a obvious question
You do not need to take a Drawing course to major in Visual Studies there; it is only required for Fine Arts majors. If you are unsure of your abilities, you could take Drawing I as a Pass Fail elective. Note that the Studio Arts courses are time consuming and serious classes, but many have excellent professors. Do not expect an Easy A from them, however.
