Advice, Northwestern?

Aight so I'm almost done with my application to NU and I'm intel but they don't give f-aid to internationals. But I feel like I shud take a chance and apply for aid anyways because I just got into Chicago and might not be able to go cos they gave me no aid and I didn't apply for aid since they said they din't have aid for intel transfers...
So, I'm wondering, shud I take a shot and apply for aid to NU anyways regardless- I mean, I have nothing to lose- Plus is there any intel or do u guys know of ne intel transfer who got aid even tho the school claimed they didn't have aid for them?
Replies wud be greatly appreciated!

im applying to nu as a transfer, and i'm fairly certain that my family is unfortunately not poor enough to really get any financial aid, but i'm applying for it anyway just to see what we'll get. you really don't have anything to lose so i say you should just try it.

yea, I guess that's the right way to look at it just that my case is worse cos they specifically say they don't give aid to intel transfers and I called to confirm and sure enuff, the f-aid office said a categorical no- Well, good luck with your app, still not sure what I'm gon do

how much is tuition for intel students?

think it's the same as for us citizens and perm. residents- approx. $33,408

thanks sam lee- seems to me though like only international freshmen qualify not international transfers- arrrrgh! this is all so depressing! my family cud never come up with $45,000!
