sooo we just picked our classes online for next year, and I am worried that i won't be able to attain my goal of a 4.0 next year. my classes are the following:

AP English Language
Ancient Greek I
French V Honors
Algebra I
AP United States History
AP United States Government and Politics
Chemistry

self-studying:
AP Comparative Government and Politics
AP Human Geography

any advice on these classes?

The only way you can’t attain your goal of a 4.0 is if your GPA now is a crappy one.

Your courses are a bit focused on memorizing. For all your History and Gov’t classes, you’ll be forced to memorize ****, and a lot of it. Def self-study AP Human Geo, that’s the easiest AP exam, but you could save AP Comp till next year.

well apusgov is only half year so i might as well self study comp especially since i want to study political science and i want to familiarize myself with the topic as much as i can before college. and i when i said i want to have a 4.0 next year meant get all a’s next year.

Dont mean to sound critical but why are you in 5 aps while at the same time in Algebra 1?

haha i’m bad at math. but don’t be fooled, i’ve been in all honors and ap classes, say for math. with that i’ve done successful in those classes

I do agree with @Ivygolfer
How are you just barely taking Algebra 1?

Little late nevermind.
And just out of curiosity, what maths did you take freshman and sophomore years?

omg haha i mean Algebra II lol sorry for the confusion

Ohhh. Okay, then that makes sense.
Well, I think it’ll be a completely doable schedule.
AP English should just be constant essays, but I’m pretty sure you already expect that.
Your other AP classes will probably just be a lot of notes, vocabulary and memorizing, and if you make sure to study, I’m sure you’ll be able to handle it. Also, AP US G&P and Comparative should have similar basic concepts.
I think you’ll be fine, just make sure to prioritize your at-school AP’s if it starts to become a little overbearing.
Hopefully someone with more experience in the actual classes can give you some insight.

also do you think that this is a strong schedule for yale, harvard, …etc? and what about my senior schedule:

AP English Literature
AP French Language
Ancient Greek II Honors
AP Statistics
AP Environmental Science
AP Economics

Does anyone have any insight on APUSH? I plan on taking it next year as well, along with AP Calc BC, AP Physics B&C & AP Psych. I’m on block scheduling so Calc Physics and APUSH would be year long. Is this too much of a schedule? I’ve heard from juniors that it is. I need to maintain my 4.0 GPA.

yeah…if you have a question make your own thread…needless to say there are probably dozens of already made threads that could easily answer your question…so bye

bumppppppppppppppppppppp
