Advice on matches...

I've been geared for UW Madison all my life. If I do in fact go, I'll be third generation. I love Madison - the city and the university. I intend on majoring in either pre-med studies or a TBD history, language, or English program. And now I arrive at my problem. Because I've basically been groomed for Madison, I have no idea where to start on looking for other places to apply. What are some good matches?

cant determine matches (or safeties or reaches for that matter), without any stats

I saw you had a 29 ACT. I had a 29 ACT and got into UW-Madison OOS. I'd say you have a great chance in-state. It's definitely a match unless your GPA is below 3.4, and a safety if it's above a 3.6

As for some safeties/matches, what are you looking for in terms of location, student body, public/private, cost, etc.
