Hello, I would like some advice on my music extracurriculars. I have been playing Violin since I was 6 years old. Although I have not received many awards I feel that I have accomplished a lot. Some repertoire I have mastered include violin concerti by Mendelssohn, Tchaikovsky, Paganini, Brahms, and miscellaneous pieces by Sarasate, Wieniawski, et al. I have played most of the 24 Caprices by Paganini and every single one of Bach's Partitas and Sonatas. I have made state wide and regional orchestras, and have been concertmaster of my school's orchestra for two years.

Is my skill level on par with students at selective schools such as H/P/Y? Would it be worth it for me to submit an arts supplement?

It will tell you most of what you wish to know.

At HYP, conservatory level ability is not an uncommon trait among the applicant pool. Your description would not indicate a level of experience that might set you apart well from any number of others.
