Hello. I’m currently a sophomore who is planning next year’s classes and I would like your advice on the schedule I’m planning to follow in the coming years.
Here’s the schedule:
Junior
-Pre-AP Spanish III
-Pre-AP Pre Calculus
-JROTC III
-AP Language and Composition
-AP Chemistry
-Religion III
-AP US History
Senior
-Spanish 4 AP
-AP Calculus BC
-JROTC IV
-AP Literature
-Physics II Honors
-Religion IV
-AP Statistics
Summer
-Government & Economics
I am planning on majoring as a computer scientist. However, if my interest changes I would like to have the knowledge to be flexible enough to pursue other science-related degrees (That's why AP Chem is there). My justification for taking AP Chemistry before taking Physics II Honors in my senior year is that I don't want to forget the current foundation I have as a sophomore who is currently taking Pre-AP Chemistry.
Specifically, I would like to inquire whether or not anybody has experience taking APUSH, Pre-Cal, and an AP science all at once. Even as a member of my school's drill team (which means I get home at around 5:30), I am confident that I am able to manage my time wisely. What worries me is how stressful these courses combined can make a student.
Thanks for reading this awkwardly long post… If you could help me out I would greatly appreciate it.
