I would love to move down south and go to school there. I have been looking into the University of Alabama. Right now, I attend a community college and plan to transfer in about a year and half. I have decided I want to be a Business/Finance major. Is that a major the University of Alabama is known for? If not, can you direct me to universities in the south that have a good reputation for Business and Finance. Thank you so much for your time and response.

I don't know if this is important to add or not but my first semester of college I got a 3.2 and this semester I got a 4.0 and made the Dean's list.

The University of Alabama’s undergraduate business program is ranked among the top 3-4% of public business programs nationally. I believe our current rank is #29. The Manderson School of Business, the graduate program, also ranks high nationally. I can’t remember the actual ranking, but I believe it’s in the top 35 nationally. Finance is also the top degree-granting program within the undergraduate business school.

The requirements for transferring to UA are:
