Advice on which college to apply early to -- PLEASE HELP

I'd like to start by saying I'd appreciate any help so thanks in advance.

Alright so I am deciding between applying to Columbia Early Decision or Princeton Single-Choice Early Action. I have visited both schools and love them both. Believe it or not, I honestly like them both equally.

For background info.........

I go to public high school in NY outside the city (in Westchester).

I have decent connections to both school through my mom. She is an alumnus of Princeton and pretty active in helping out (serving on panels occasionally, giving talks, and has done a little alumni interviewing). Also, in regards to Columbia, my mom is on the board of health at Columbia.

Here are my specs:

2310 SAT - [760 reading, 760 writing, 790 math]
SAT 2s - 740 Latin and just took the Math II this morning
4.045 GPA (about a 94%) - [Freshman Year 3.911 (92%), Sophomore Year 3.914 (92%), Junior Year 4.317 (97%)]

Resume wise, in school, I have good activity in clubs, been in several plays, done lots of stuff through the school's music program and have played various sports each year. Outside of school, I really focus on music and am preparing a 3-track CD supplement.

That's essentially the gist of it...I'm not trying to be arrogant or anything, I really would just love any honest advice...ed/ea deadlines are coming up quick and I need to pick a school. If you have any input, whether you think I should pick one over the other or even if you I shouldn't even bother considering those two, please just let me know (PM me or just post here)...

Thank you very much!

I would say SCEA to Princeton since the decision is not binding. You are still open to opportunities at Columbia to consider things like finaid, etc, in your decision.

Thank you…also just to mention something which I’d forgotten to state, I really like the two school equally so I am mainly asking which school I’d have a better shot at because that is how I plain to ultimately make my decision…thanks.
