I'd like to start by saying I'd appreciate any help so thanks in advance.

Alright so I am deciding between applying to Columbia Early Decision or Princeton Single-Choice Early Action. I have visited both schools and love them both. Believe it or not, I honestly like them both equally.

For background info.........

I go to public high school in NY outside the city (in Westchester).

I have decent connections to both school through my mom. She is an alumnus of Princeton and pretty active in helping out (serving on panels occasionally, giving talks, and has done a little alumni interviewing). Also, in regards to Columbia, my mom is on the board of health at Columbia.

Here are my specs:

2310 SAT - [760 reading, 760 writing, 790 math]
SAT 2s - 740 Latin and just took the Math II this morning
4.045 GPA (about a 94%) - [Freshman Year 3.911 (92%), Sophomore Year 3.914 (92%), Junior Year 4.317 (97%)]

Resume wise, in school, I have good activity in clubs, been in several plays, done lots of stuff through the school's music program and have played various sports each year. Outside of school, I really focus on music and am preparing a 3-track CD supplement.

That's essentially the gist of it...I'm not trying to be arrogant or anything, I really would just love any honest advice...ed/ea deadlines are coming up quick and I need to pick a school. If you have any input, whether you think I should pick one over the other or even if you I shouldn't even bother considering those two, please just let me know (PM me or just post here)...

Thank you very much!
