Advice please! I am really worried...

Hi,
I was just accepted to University of Michigan (LSA). I am really happy about it but there is a problem. I am an international applicant(from the Czech Republic but I am studying in London now). I am doing the IB Diploma programme and I was predicted 37 points out of 45. The 37 points is what my teachers are expecting me to get, it is quite good to be predicted 37:) Well anyways and I just got the University of Michigan welcome pack and on the bottom of the admissions letter it says:

"Our decision to offer you admission is based on our belief that you have the ability to be a successful student at the University of Michigan. It is important that you understand that any significant decline in your level of academic achievement could result in reconsideration of your admission."

In the IB Diploma 24 points out of 45 is a pass. Does this mean that I have to get the 37 points or around that? Would they still take me if I got like 33 points in the end? Please any advice would be greatly appreciated. :) I am the first student from my school to go to a US uni so I have no-one to ask...

Thanks so much in advance...

Not necessarily. What this letter means is that they expect you to complete your final year in good standing at your current school. If you stop studying, and your grades drop off significantly, they might rescind their offer of admission.

Trust your teachers. They know what scores students like you usually get. If you keep up with your classwork, everything will be fine.

Thanks happymomof1  So this means if I drop lets say 3 or 4 points it should be fine right? Thanks again.

Should be fine. Don’t worry about this.

Congratulations and good luck!

The actual IB scores don’t really matter that much for US colleges unless your scores SIGNIFICANTLy decrease… the scores come out in July anyway.
