Advice please?

Right now I am a sophomore. And Asian. And I could really use some advice please :)

I'm in gifted and skipped first grade but that doesn't really help

GPA: From last year it was around a 97%. It could go up this year because of some AP classes. (about 37/473)

AP classes: Music Theory, World History. Will take more later

Extracurriculars:
volunteer at the Reading Music Foundation
tutors at school
Student Government
President of East Asian Club
founded Writers Club (then quit because everyone else wanted to meet on Fridays which is when I volunteer at RMF and I was getting busy)
A writing/theatre program at the Walnut Street theatre in Philly
Jazz band (hopefully if I get in! I actually LIKE doing this)
I play piano and the flute
Writer for Voices (teen section in the local newspaper) and I want to start doing the local radio station too
Junior State of America (when it starts)

Awards
3 statewide poetry awards (citation, honorable mention, and first place)
third place Chinese essay award
third place essay award
third place in a county wide (maybe even wider) piano competition
Student of the month (at school :P)
7th in chapters and 18th in division in a national French test

I think I'm doing okay... till I looked at some other profiles on this site. How do people do it? Should I be doing even more?! Help!

the key is to not worry about other people. Yes, maybe some of them are your competition, but think about it. There are so many different people with so many different accomplishments that it is hard to “compete” with other people. Try to compete against the admissions officers. Show them the best you and give them every reason to admit you.

That’s really good advice. Thanks :)
