I wanted to ask the best of the best. To b on track with chemE I would need to take o chem 1 and 2 plus calc 3 and diff equations during the summer. Is this suicide or wud it b better to take a year n take those classes in regular semester.I'm not worried about calc 3 or diff equations since I hear their like calc1,2 ( add a variable n get the equation into a known rule) what worries me is o chem since I know and hear its a beast. Also Im coming from a cc and taking calc physics chem bio all 2 to help get a perspective on my abilities even though their not u level course . Any opinions, thoughts, personnel experience wud help thanx

Doesn’t the second organic chemistry course require the first organic chemistry course as a prerequisite? If so, you may not be able to take the two simultaneously.

As far as taking four courses during a summer session, it depends on whether the school is a quarter system or semester system school. In quarter system schools, the summer session is typically a full quarter, so you can take a normal full course load then. In semester system schools, the summer session is typically half the length of a regular semester, so you would take half of a normal full course load then.

Also, people will understand your question better if you did not write in txt spk.

I think they put both of those two on there for one semester since it is summer and maybe they’re both short term classes (i.e. 4 week or 5 week)

I understand. Im in the same situation too. I have to do O Chem 1 and 2 along with Themo this summer. Shouldn’t be too difficult especially since its summer. however, calc 3 by itself is going to be a beotch and I’m not sure if you’d want to do Diff Eq immediately after wards in the same semester. If you’re Chem E, I dont think you’ll need the pre req of Diff Eq for any of your classes (at least I dont for my school) so you might be able to push that back a bit
