I am planning on eventually becoming a genetic engineer and was wondering on some advice for college. So far I have heard back from (for undergraduate school but planning to get PhD at a later time most likely at a different school)
Michigan State- accepted under molecular genetics + 7000 per year
URI- Biotechnology + 10,000 a year
NYIT- Biotechnology + 22,000 a year
UMASS Lowell- biotechnology
SCSU- Biotechnology
Penn State- Molecular Biology and Biochemistry- 2+2 with Abington as starting campus (asked for a reevaluation for Biotechnology)

Clemson University
Purdue
University of Minnesota Twin Cities
Syracuse
University of New Hampshire

I am making this form for advice on what to do. Originally Penn state was my top school but I don’t know how I feel about the two plus two.

What would the annual net cost be for each one of your accepted schools?

URI- around 30,00 per year
Penn state and Michigan around 50,000 per year
NYIT- 10,000 per year
Not sure for the rest
I only know NYIT from the scholarship info

And what can your family afford to pay?

The majority of them, but for example is Michigan State worth the extra money then URI
