Advice

I am currently a sophomore in high school wonder want I could do now to improve my chances of getting into Princeton for college, not early. I currently have a 3.23 unweighted GPA , AP World killed it. A 4.77 weighted, I take all the highest classes available at my High School. That would be gt Pre-calculus/trigonometry , gt English, gt chemistry, AP statistic , AP world history, and GT Spanish IV. I am going to take the SAT & ACT this summer , the last time I took the SAT in 7th grade I got a 650 math 437 Critical Reading 580 Writing. I am also in Track and Field, and finally I'm in the top tenth of my grade. I would also like to know I should change the course I am taking for Junior year? I plan to take AP calculus AB, AP English 11, GT Physics, AP US history, AP Computer Science A, Honors Anatomy (plan to premed so thought this would help), and GT engineering (have to take this). The reason I am dropping Spanish now is cause I got 4 years and I wouldn't do well in Spanish V.

So please give me recommendations on what to improve and also any summer programs I should do to help my chances.

Come back in 3 weeks when we’re not as stressed out about decisions. :-</p>

Seconded. Actually, try again after May 1st when we all know where we’re going. Or risk encountering some very bitter people. :)

Haha I regrettably agree

You could start by improving your SATs. lol

How can you get a 437 in the SATs?

That SAT score isn’t all that bad for a 7th grader (I’m assuming you took it for some sort of talent search program). If you want to get into Princeton, definitely work on getting your SAT score into at least the 2200s when you actually take it.

The 3.23 unweighted might kill you.

Your UW GPA is a killer, forsure. But, colleges love an upward trend. When did you get the poor grade in AP World? If it was in your frosh year, I know Princeton wouldn’t count that. But you NEED to work on raising your GPA by taking the most rigorous classes.
