please help...

Just so you know:

"SAT II: Calc BC 800"

Does not exist

"Scholastic Aptitude Test Preparation Club Member 2008-2009"

I would probably not list this LOL

I'm not sure whether you are taking AP Calculus BC and AP Physics B this year or next year, but

Physics 101 Energy and Waves
Will not prepare you for the AP Physics B exam, and will probably not be the appropriate course after AP Physics B.

Chemistry 121 Structural Chemistry with Application
I'm not sure if this would prepare you for the AP Chemistry exam and probably would not be the appropriate course after AP Chemistry.

Differential Calculus 204
Will not prepare you for the AP Calculus BC exam, and would not be the appropriate course after AP Calculus BC.

Best of luck.

oh my bad. I meant Calc B not BC lol
and btw. I am taking the UBC courses because my school does not offer AP but a special program with UBC which lets student to take courses at UBC in grade 12 year. the UBC courses are not to prep for AP exams but to take as rigorous courses as possible which are offered at my school

thanks for the luck right back at u =)

There's still not an SAT II in Calculus. :) Are you sure you don't mean Mathematics II?

I looked at the UBC courses on the UBC site, and their AP credit policy. Are you taking any AP exams this year?

Okay, I'm going to assume you are taking "high school calculus" this year or something. If you take differential equation, and you've had integral calculus you should be prepared for the exam.

AP Courses - Advanced Placement Course Descriptions

This will give you an idea about the tests. I just don't you to waste hundreds of dollars. Are you planning to self-study this courses.

Especially for a Canadian student, you have won many awards and have participated in a lot of clubs. The only other concern I would have, is if an A in your school is 80-100. <80's do not look good.

Harvard is just a school. It's a bunch of buildings and people engaged in teaching and learning, and a lot of hard work. Please know that there are many great schools out there.

If you do get in, you are at risk for depression, according to an article I just read. The students who have wanted to go to Harvard "since they were 4" are at great risk for depression when they actually get there. We have seen this in real life.

Please think about other alternatives just in case, and really try to look forward to many options. Think about what Harvard represents for you: is the achievement of getting in the main thing for you? What does it signify for you personally?

Relax and try to enjoy your last year of high school, follow your interests, and everything will work out really well for you.

well the only reason why I wanted to go there was because I read that Harvard possesses the biggest library on the Earth and I love reading..=) Of course I am going to apply to other great schools such as UPENN, Northwestern, UC Austin, UM Ann Arbor etc.. but Harvard..is a reach =) thx for the reply
