Advising For Entering Students! Especially Transfer!!

I read from some of the posts and find out that on the Connections 2013, some entering first-year students have been assigned to one seminar and know who is going to be their advisor.

I am an entering transfer student and have also selected the seminar options but till now my advising page on the Connection 2013 has not changed to tell me which program I am assigned nor any other information about my advisor is shown.

Should I be worried about this and contact the school about this?
Or if anyone is familiar with this or have any clue what's going on, or can explain the situation, you are more than welcomed to do so!!

hey, i am also a transfer and my page hasn’t changed either.

To blackbook,

It’s great to meet other Tufts transfer students, and your news makes me more relieved.
I am thinking about calling the Student Service tomorrow to see when can we find out who will be our advisors.

Do you know that if we will participate in those advising programs?
And btw, where are you transferring from?

Anyone else has information is more than welcomed to share!

Have transfer students already been given housing? I’m alone in a double and I’m wondering what the odds are that they’ll throw somebody else in with me…

i actually called tufts some time ago about the advising programs. they told me we will get one like the freshmen, but it is really not that important (aka if you do not like it you are not forced to stick with it or something along those lines)

@hebrew how did you find out about your housing?

and i’m coming from the university of texas at austin

I was a Tufts student last year, so I selected it. Long story short, I wound up picking a double alone, as they had just ran out of singles, and they haven’t given me a roommate yet so I’m hoping they won’t.
