<p>do the advising groups mean anything? are they our orientation groups? because i’m in host and on the connection the other kids in my host group are listed as well as 3 orientation leaders…?</p>
<p>… can we drop these advising classes. honestly, i was only interested in 3 out of ALL the advising options (1 of them was Host…) and i got the last option i put on my list. How important are these classes/this sort of advising service? (I’ve never heard of this “pre-major” advising at any other college…) I’m in a pass/fail FAC class and honestly would rather not waste my time in it. – Is there any way to switch out of it?</p>
