Advisor/Double Major ?s

My declared major is political science but I want to double major, adding a three languages major.

At Delaworld I met my advisor who was very knowledgable about UD's political science courses etc but admitted to me that he did not know much about the foreign language department.

What if I need to be advised about my (hopefully) three lang major?

The lang program was a Huge factor into why I chose UDel and I want to make sure that I can carry through my goals.

Should I see another advisor (of possible) or should I change my declared major to three languages?

Also, when can we declare a second major ?? I am anxious to do this because I feel like if I don't I might miss out and not be able to do it.

One more thing - anyone have any idea if these placements sound ok...
I had 5 years of French and was put in French 205
I had 3 years of Japanese and was put in Japanese 107

thanks

Okay... so this combination is pretty common among triple language majors. Maybe one of them will chime in...

... if not I'll share what I know about it.

I'd go right to the department and make an appointment with an advisor in the 3language department.

Your language placement seems fine. Keep in mind, college language is very different from what you're used to in HS.

Ok thanks - I'm going to try to set up a phone conversation.
