does anyone know the main difference between Applied Economics and Management and International Agriculture and Rural Development? any comments on one or the other?

AEM is the business school of Cornell. I have no idea about IARD, but I think the name speaks for itself.

tun--how do you like cornell? do you know anyone in cals?

I'm not enjoying it that much, but that's really my fault, so don't be discouraged. My roommate is in CALS and he's an AEM major. I have like 2 other AEM majors on my floor too, which is pretty neat. (Considering that there are only 90 freshman admitted a year.) My roommate takes Marketing and Advanced Economics I believe for his AEM related classes this year. One thing to note is that you need to take Biology for a full year, and my roommate hates it. So I hope you have AP Bio credit to take care of that should you get in.

hmmm...no AP Bio, oh well (no room w/4 other APs at my school).

do you know anyone who does music?

Yeah, there's a girl two doors down from me that's a music major. I don't know exactly what she does since I don't talk to her much.
