I have a gpa of 3.1
I'm a minority if that helps at all.
Oh and a SAT of around 1750.

I'm looking to get find some colleges that would be a slight reach/match. Has to have a decent Aerospace Engineering program.

Help me find some schools!

Oh and excuse my English from the previous post.

Purdue, its AAE program is top 5.
22 Astronauts, including Neil Armstrong, hold a Purdue Degrees, and NASA, lockheed martin recruit heavily here.

University of Central Florida. It is also closely associated with nearby Cape Canaveral.

Embry-Riddle, Purdue, UIUC, Cal Poly SLO, U of Maryland College Park

Are you sure that those are slight reaches/matches?

Those seem like I would have like no chance of getting in

James212- What state do you live in? It would be worth looking to see if any of your state schools have an aero major.

Look into the University of Colorado, Boulder.

[Aerospace Engineering Sciences | University of Colorado at Boulder](Home | Ann and H.J. Smead Aerospace Engineering Sciences | University of Colorado Boulder)

Website says the program is interested in attracting and retaining minorities.

Slight Reach

[Office of Institutional Research: Admissions Data ERAU](<a href=“Institutional Research”>Institutional Research)

I live in California btw

those schools i listed earlier should be reaches at most, with most of them being slight reaches.

for in CA, look at UC Davis, San Jose State, and CSU Long Beach, again, all reaches. just improve your sat scores, and make sure you get good grades, try to boost your gpa, and your chances will increase a lot

If you end up applying to UIUC and Purdue, you might as well put UMich up there.

California Polytechnic State University, San Luis Obispo–this would be a reach
Cal Poly Pomona–easier to get into than Cal Poly SLO

Other CSUs with your major, not sure how good they are in what you’re looking for.
CSU Long Beach
California State Polytechnic University, Pomona
San Diego State University
San Jose State University

I’m curious as to how good Emory/GIT’s join Aerospace Engineering major is?
