Aerospace Engineering vs Biological/Chemical-Biological Engineering

I’ve known for certain I’ve wanted to be an engineer for quite a while. My issue is that I have 2 passions: I’ve always loved space and dreamt of building space crafts. But I also aspire to help people, and if I went into biological or chemical-biological engineering, I feel I also would be happy.

I’d just like some opinions on the matter. If you have any statistics or information about the job market or anything as such, please let me know!

You should never use past job market performance to make future decisions. Job markets are cyclical. Without a crystal ball you can’t see what the market will look like when you are ready to join it. Want proof of what a bad idea it is. Look at those who are graduating right now with petroleum degrees. The better option is to do what you like and see where it leads you.

“Helping people” is a vague and meaningless goal that almost everyone has, and you can help people in literally any field. Can you be more specific about your interests?
