AES Re-Review

Has anyone who applied for an AES re-review received their notification yet? The time frame in which I was told that notifications would come out was “mid-April” but no email has been sent out, nor is anything in my Galaxy. AES updated their website saying The Academic Excellence Scholarship Program is no longer awarding admitted first-time-in-college freshmen for the 2015-2016 academic year.", so I’m wondering what’s going on with re-reviews.

Originally I didn’t receive an AES because of my SAT, but my new stats are:
ACT 29
Ranked in the top 8% of my class when I turned in an updated transcript
3.72 UW GPA, 3.9ish /4.0 weighted
Lots of Pre-AP, AP, and gifted/talented courses
Lots of volunteer hours/National Honor Society
A few ECs

Little worried about my re-review as well…

Stats are:
ACT 33
SAT 1430 Math+Reading
3.3 UW and 4.3 Weighted (Ranked 49% in my class…)
AP Scholar w/ Distinction (5 AP tests taken, with average score about a 4), and taking 5 more AP tests this year
Huge amount of volunteer hours
Lots of awards for my hobby

@Weeender I think we’ve been talking on reddit haha! I’ll definitely keep you updated if I get something.

My son just got notice of an increase in AES today. He originally has the honors scholarship and got bumped up to the Distinction (tuition, fees, and 2K a year).

His general stats: 2230 SAT, 3.84/4.41 GPA, no APs, 39.5 units of community college, three SAT II tests and some strong ECs, LORs, etc.

Congratulations @sbjdorlo!!!

Thank you, @Weeender. While it’s a good problem to have to be able to put UTD back on the table of affordable schools, my son is already stressing out over making a decision. I figured UTD was out a long time ago.

I hope UTD comes through for you!

@sbjdorlo Do u mind sharing your son’s CR+M score? My D is Jr right now. But, I am just curious.
