I’ve been looking at both schools for a while and its difficult for me to gauge which is more affordable in the long run. I’m planning to go into either the IRG major at UT Austin or the International Studies major at Texas A&M and I’m mostly worried about which one will put me into less debt. I’m also wondering if UT Austin, even if it does prove to be more expensive, has more opportunities and connections considering that it is more involved in liberal arts than A&M (or so I’ve heard). If you have attended either school or know others who have and how they are managing their school costs, please reply. It would also be helpful if you are majoring in either major for information.
