<p>Hi Everyone, I am an African American male from Kansas, and Michigan is currently my top choice. I am really interested in Sports Management, and I hear UM is the best. I will be finished with my app in the next week or two. Am I too late? Some previous posts have made me kinda nervous about time. I was wondering about my chances and also my scholarship chances. I would need some financial assistance. Here are my stats. Thanx alot.</p>

GPA: 3.4 unweighted
SAT: 1300(670m, 630v)
ACT: 28
Out of State
ECs: 4 yrs baseball
Spanish Club
African American Club
2 yrs AVID
Student council member(12th grade)
Not many volunteer hrs.
Part time job for 1+ years(promotion and raise. top employee under age 18)</p>

<p>Hello Jarell. You are NOT too late, but you should apply ASAP. Like in the next 10 days. Your SAT/ACT are certainly good enough. Your GPA is on the low side, but you certainly have a shot. I would say Michigan is a match/reach for you...very realitic to be sure.</p>

<p>Kinesiology is a very hot spot this year, so do get that application in to maximize your chances.</p>

<p>I dunno, I think this could go either way. A 1300 is below the average out of state score i believe, and your GPA isn't so terrific either. Anyhow, the minority status does help, and your courseload looks rather demanding, so you never know. good luck</p>
