after 4 years of language in highschool (up to AP level), what level is normal to start at in colleg

<p>after four consecutive years of taking a language in high school.... (i know every college is different) but how many years did you get off/what level did you start at freshman year of college?</p>

<p>It depends on the college. Some colleges will waive the language requirement if you have made it through the 4th year of a language. Others will give you a placement test so that you will be placed at the correct level. </p>

<p>You also may want to consider learning a completely different language in college. </p>
