Heh...Raleigh was actually my plan, I have some family there so I'm more familiar with it than other unvisited areas of the country though. I'm very much a northeastern type of person, though, so I wonder if I'd be miserable in the south. =/

I heard somewhere that it's illegal to pump your own gas in Oregon! What a stupid law!

Staying in LA or OC. Working in advertising, either where I am now or somewhere willing to pay more.

It's illegal in NJ as well. Don't have to do anything but sit and wait and our gas is cheaper than most surrounding states. Don't see anything stupid about it at all. ;)

Im a northeastern too. But theres really no cities that are affordable and young in the northeast with jobs. But I might move to Houston or something after college. Im sure the Northeast and the South arent that much diffrent.

allie look forward to seeing where you end up... in the cutthroat LA world. will be watching closely.

It depends where in the south. If you're in a city like Atlanta or Austin, you should be fine... it's mostly the rural areas you have to worry about.

I'm not sure what city...but I want to live in the South. Perhaps Tennessee or North Carolina?

Grad school anybody?

Portland is a very nice and clean city, but it's too small for me. I'll probably move back to Socal (NOT San Diego) or go to Seattle. Hopefully, I'll find a job in either of these places.

Probably Toronto or Chicago (or Montreal if I can pull that off) as an iBanker. I'm going to be in NYC for college. I want to go someplace different.

I want to travel, at least for part of the summer. Looking into going to Euro 2008 and traveling around Europe with some friends. I might look into grad school, but I'm pretty sure I won't have the grades to go anywhere really good, but I might go elsewhere. I might take some grad school classes abroad (since I have decided not to go abroad during undergrad) through a school or independant program.

Long term plan is to settle in the [far to expensive] DC market. I will most likely live at home for at least a little while.

I'm staying in Pittsburgh. I've lived there since I was born and would never move anywhere else.

I will be living with my mom while I attend grad school and sub. Once I get the master's and the teaching job I will stay there until I'm tenured, and even then may stay in my mom's basement another few years so I can get a nice new Volvo. My 1996 Volvo 850 with 64K miles has to last me until then (which is at least 7-8 years and probably about 40-45K miles...yeah, I don't take long trips).

The only thing that would change this is marriage, but being that I'm 20 and still single I don't see marriage coming anytime soon, if ever. I may wind up eventually adopting children (preferably from Germany) when I retire after 40 years of teaching.

I haven't put too much thought into it, actually. I'm pretty flexible on that issue.

I think it would be pretty cool to go teach English in China and learn Chinese after college, and then head to grad school. Who knows?
