Agatha Christie

Ahh I love her!! I read "And then there were none" in like 8th grade but recently I read Murder on the Orient Express and it was amazing!! I also just finished Death on the Nile and I'm starting 5 little pigs. I don't know how she does it. Anyone else a fan of her writing?

I love those books! I have read so many! It's actually been awhile since I've read any though....

I also read And Then There Were None in 8th grade! It was my favorite book that year. I saw the movie Murder on the Orient Express but didn't read the book.

Yup, I've read tons of her books. I think I've read all but a couple of her Hercule Poirot novels. I'm not a big fan of Miss Marple, so I haven't read any of those.

I love Agatha Christie. I have read all of her Hercule Poirot books and a few of the other ones. But I'm also prejudiced and do not read the Miss Marple ones.

Yea idk if i wanna read miss.marple either lol....ill try once i finish off the others

I've never read a book from her, but I'll probably check it out since I'm starting summer novels soon =)

I'm about to read Inside the Mind of Gideon Rayburn, can't wait, RIGHT after SAT IIs.

This book is earthy and crude, but intensely honest. A nameless girl at Midvale Academy suddenly and inexplicably finds herself inside the head of 15-year-old Gideon, a new student at the Connecticut prep school. Hearing his thoughts gives her a unique understanding of how the mind of an intelligent but hormone-ruled boy works. Gid's wealthy, handsome, and popular roommates, Cullen and Nicholas, attempt to help him adjust, pointing out the hottest girls. Recognizing that he is limited in his coolness factor, they pick a girl who's not the top of the heap and bet on whether Gideon will be able to have sex with her before Halloween. The lucky girl is Molly McGarry. It's a shame, Gideon thinks, because although she is cute and smart, she's not his first pick; he's set his sights on beautiful, oozing-with-sexuality Pilar Benitez-Jones, who has indicated that she'll take him on, any time, any place. But a bet's a bet, and Gideon is excited about fulfilling the terms since he's still a virgin.

There's a tremendous amount of pot smoking, drinking, and sneaking out at night, making the story most appropriate for older teens. The humor, well-developed characters, and fast-moving plot make the book deserving of shelf space, and teens will enjoy figuring out the identity of the narrator, who is revealed at the end.

^I think I'll read that... it sounds interesting.
I don't like miss marple much either. and I don't like tommy and tuppence. I do like Hercule Poirot, and her other books with varying different people.

i wanna read that book sarorah

Poirot is my favorite, followed by Tommy and Tuppence (especially the WWII one). I'm not really a Marple fan. But I do love my Agatha Christie books... they're excellent to take on holiday, especially now that they're coming out with collections (like 3/4 books in one). I think I have about 30 or so at my grandfather's house in Greece... :)

agatha is amazing!!

i was in the play of "ten little indians"...such an amazing experience.

i am obsessed with every book i read of hers.
