I plan on applying to Agronomy or Plant Breeding graduate programs at Minnesota, Wisconsin, and other MidWest schools in the near future. Ideally in my time there, I'd also like to enroll in a joint MBA program. Can anyone point me towards programs with well-regarded agribusiness courses/professors with real-world experience in the seed or agriconsulting industries? Washington University in St. Louis seems to be a given because of its proximity to Monsanto, but I'd like to learn about programs that aren't so tied to a single corporate player. In my research of schools, I have not been able to find a discussion of this concentration.

Wouldn’t most agribusiness programs be in departments of ag econ? Ohio State has a joint graduate ag ec program with its college of business:

If you’re interested in seed science & technology, you could just check schools that offer such programs and check if they have any collaborations with their agribusiness people in ag ec. Iowa State has a seed science center. It offers a graduate program in seed technology and business: [Graduate Program in Seed Technology and Business](http://www.seedgrad.iastate.edu/)
Ohio State has a seed biology program: [Seed Biology](http://www.ag.ohio-state.edu/~seedbio/)
