What are the people like in the school of agriculture? I’m not one to judge anyone at all, but some friends tell me they are very strange, and most are just hillbillies. This is not my group of people, and while it obviously wouldn’t impact my work, I would like to have some friends.
Stop listening to your friends. Agriculture students would tend to be from more rural areas than from Manhattan.
Why do you want to study agriculture?
I think plants will play a big role in the future, I also just like plant science.
From your posting history you are interested in business which just happens to be in CALS. You likely will not meet any farmers in Dyson.
I am, however, I’m considering plant science as that is my goal business topic. Would CALS be better for that? I feel like actually getting some research experience before the business would be a better idea. Then again, it’s harder for me to get into CALS due to my areas lack of business ECs
LMAO. The CALS school? “Hillbillies?”. You’re kidding me right. your friends are ignorant then because that is not how it’s like. Just because it’s named CALS does not mean it’s a “hillbilly school”. if they actually looked into the school or at least googled basic information, in CALS, there are so many majors in the CALS school that do not have to do much with agriculture such as the communication major, the biometry and statistics major, the info science major and the AEM major. only a small amount of people from that school actually get into agriculture. and most of CALS students end up being extremely succesful in fields such as business, med school, and vet schoo. And also, just because someone majors in agriculture doesn’t make them a hill billy? Like what?? the most ignorant comment i’ve ever heard about CALS. they probably it pulled out of their asses…
anyway, based on your past posts, you need to slow down. focus on your sat and gpa first instead of romanticizing about your college choices…
