is ANYONE even considering the ag dept?

am i the only weird one looking to go into food science? :P

i'll admit the only food science major i've met was from korea...BUT

any major at cornell will be enhanced by the classes/electives you take...

i actually know a few people who are in food science/food management.

ive met a few...

I know one person in food science, one person in Nutrition in CALS, and one person in nutrition in HumEc. So yeah, it's popular.

of course there are....cornell is well known internationally for it's ag dept...it's a huge school so there are hundreds of people just like you interested in food science.

CALS should be pretty popular for Biology directed majors.

CALS is popular for biology majors who are NY residents because the tuition is so much cheaper in-state. I personally think the ag school has a vibrant presence on campus and my ag friends are some of the coolest people i know.
