I’m going to be a sophomore in high school this year. I am very interested and passionate about science, specifically medicine. I hope to go into premed. I have a good GPA so far at 4.48 Unweighted (All Honors & 1AP).
I understand that colleges look for students that are passionate in what they do. How can I show on my college application that I am interested in medicine and science… Any tips? (Where I should volunteer, great programs, clubs, etc.)
I’m also a rising sophomore and interested in medicine. The major things you can do are…
- volunteer at your local hospital
- shadow a doctor
- ask a professor if you can assist with their research
As far as programs go, the aamc makes a good list of programs.
