<p>So this is my Junior year of high school and this semester my grades are going to be horrible:</p>

<p>11 English Honors: B</p>

<p>Math Functions Honors: B</p>

<p>Chemisty Honors: D (possible for a clutch C if I get an A on final :( )</p>

<p>Spanish 3 CP: A </p>

<p>Human Rights and Conflict Honors: A</p>

<p>Advance Weight Training: A</p>

<p>My gpa is only 3.45w/2.8uw and now I feel SOL when applying to college, I wanted to apply as an OOS Black male to NC State, Duke, Purdue, Clemson, Univ of Central Flordia and others. Will this affect me if next semester I get all A's and 1 B (in Chem)?? I hope this D doesn't down grade me :'(</p>

<p>A D is rather tough, especially if it is just an honors class. I’m hoping that you applied to safety schools, just in case. Duke is completely out of the question, unfortunately, unless you are an athlete and a really good one at that. NC State is match, purdue is low reach, clemson is low reach, ucf is high match. If you have any EC’S this may also help.</p>

<p>The best thing to do would be to pull an A next semester in Chemistry, to show that you changed. Otherwise, a D kind of sucks.</p>
