Ahhh.. will the rescind my offer?

I got accepted to my top 2 schools in University of Arizona and University of South Carolina-Columbia and I am currently at a 65% in English with a week left in the grading period. Assuming a can't bring it up to a C- will the schools likely rescind my acceptance offer?

I feel like I barely got accepted in the first place (GPA: 2.95, SAT: 1760).

If English is not related to your major, if it’s not a top tier school, and if all your other grades are okay, then you’ll most likely be put on probation(which means ******** if you are going to be academically serious in college), but still aloud acceptance.

what does probation mean?

Yes, they may rescind you if you get a “D.”

but what does academic probation mean?

It means that you either bring your grades up or get kicked out. I’ve never heard of people getting academic probation before they even start in college, but I suppose it’s possible…

Kinda late, but my friend who went to NYU started on academic probation lmao. Luckily he brought his grades up!
