<p>I apologize that I have brought up this issue once again, but I am really a bit unsure here. </p>
<p>Normally, I understand the "You might as well send it in, as it can only help, not hurt" philosophy, but in this scenario I am really not sure if it cant hurt. I recieved a 108.0 on the AMC and a 5 on this year's AIME. My teacher thinks this is a good score, however I am well aware there are those who score in 8,9, 10+ range... So, basically, is this worth updating my file? This is the first time taking the contest, so I did not provide scores initially. Will a score of 5 actually hurt? Is it a mediocre enough score (In Caltech's pool) to not even bother sending in? </p>
<p>Sorry If I am sounding needlessly insecure, but I am a bit torn here. The last thing I would want to do is damage my application...</p>
