Do the top tier schools consider AMC/AIME heavily? I know MIT looks at them, but how much weight do they have?

Certainly schools know about these competitions. You can read some of the Caltech forum's posts - they mention that these scores are considered. But it's only part of the picture.

If I took this test in 10th grade and I don't remember my score, is there a way to find out?

ask your teacher or the person who administered the test. if you didn't take the AIME, you probably got less than 100.
P.S. What about making the USAMO? I definitely didn't make it this year (113.5 AMC12 :(, 7 AIME), but I'm hoping next year, maybe? Would it even help, seeing as how the qualifyers are announced after registration deadlines?

If you qualify for USAMO as a senior, it's hard to tell schools since they finish up decisions. It could help for a waitlist perhaps, or for a future transfer. Still, asiaknight, those scores are worth mentioning. I'm also not a qualifier this year (132.5 AMC12, 10 AIME) but I'd definately telling schools about my scores.

Holy mf. you must be pretty mad. what is that, like, .5 points away from qualifying?
