Aiming for NYU

Hi guys. I’m a current sophomore and I’m aiming to get into NYU. Other schools I’m considering are William & Mary or Temple. Could someone tell me what they think my chances are with my current standings?
I attend a governor’s school and currently have a 3.75 GPA. My PSAT score was 1320. I’m only taking 1 AP right now but plan to take 4 junior year and 3-4 senior year.
Not sure if it matters, but I run xc and track, am part of National Art Honor Society, Model UN, and Liberty in North Korea. I’m also a Chinese American.
I’m definitely looking for suggestions to improve my chances! Or schools that I should be aiming for!
Is it too early to tell now? Should I aim lower?

You’re on the right track. I’m not sure what you plan to major in, but if you keep up the good work, you will be a very competitive applicant for everything other than NYU’s business school. (which is not to say you don’t have a chance here. NYU Stern is the hardest to get into and you can just never be sure) Study for your SAT/ACT and keep your grades up! You’re doing a good job.

Temple may give you $. Don’t expect that from NYU. Am assuming you are a US student.
