I am currently at a Top 25 school but don't have a high GPA (3.67).
I received an A in intermediate microecon, A- in a third year language class, and B+ in freshmen writing, and passed a P/F class on Chinese culture.
In the spring I will take freshmen writing part 2, intermediate macroecon, continuation of the language class, Calc (II or III), and an arts elective class (intro to music or art history).

My ECs in college are:
1. Analyst for the finance club
2. Freshmen rep in a culture club
3. Active member but no leadership role in a few other clubs.
4. Private tutor

HS records:
GPA: 3.7-3.8 UW
SAT: 2180 (760R, 710M, 710W)
SAT II: 800 Bio, 790 Math II, 760 Japanese, 670 Chemistry :(
AP: 5s in Bio, Calc BC, Chem, Micro & Macro, Chinese, and Japanese. 4 in English Lit.
IB: 7s in Chinese HL, Econ SL. 6 in History SL. 5 in English SL.
Applied to Cornell A&S RD (rejected), NYU Stern WL (didn't stay on the WL) in HS

I am an Economics major at my school.
My main reasons for transferring are that my current school does not offer a business program,
and the economics program is too theoretical (I prefer applied econ).

I am worried that my light fall courseload (only 3 graded classes) and relatively weak ECs will hurt me when applying to these competitive programs.
I kind of want to apply to Columbia but I figure it's too high a reach with a 3.67 so crossed it out.

Any strategies/chances/recommendations?
THANKS A LOT!
