<p>Ahhh…good question!!! Yes, if her weighted GPA is 3.5+, then she’d be fine.</p>
<p>If her school doesn’t weigh, I believe that Bama will allow the GC to write a weighted GPA on the transcript and Bama will accept that.</p>
<p>OK Mom2collegekids you got your wish- my daughter just got home from a night at Alabama- went to see a friend-she walks in the door and says"I am applying to Alabama now" I was thrilled-I had a feeling it would appeal to her but didn’t want to push it!! She did say it is so much bigger than Auburn though. I am sure their shuttles run alot also etc…</p>

<p>She only spent the night at someone’s apt/duplex- went to dinner- went to a frat house and slept late- went to mall etc… so I am not sure wwat she actually saw of campus-Maybe we will head down for a tour</p>

<p>… you should set up a tour time and then email Jami Gates at honors with the tour date/time, your D’s stats, her intended major, and Jami will arrange a wonderful day for you both. You’ll meet with honors personnel, tour honors housing, meet with dept heads of intended major, and if you desire, you can sit in an honors class or whatever.</p>
