I just applied to both Alabama and Auburn university and I got accepted into Alabama. I was wondering if you get accepted into UA, what are your chances of getting into Auburn? Like are Auburn and Alabama the type of schools where if you get accepted you, then you basically got accepted into both schools?

Auburn has slightly higher admissions requirements across the board. They capped out the enrollment a while back at around 28.5k and the University decided to stop it there. Alabama on the other hand is still growing in leaps and bounds size wise and at the moment I believe it’s closer to 40k. Thank to this though, Auburn and Alabama each have fairly similar admissions stats, but auburn is slightly more selective. I’d say if you got into Bama and weren’t at the very bottom of the admitted class you have a fair chance.
This isn’t all to say That makes Auburn a better school, to be completely honest it really depends on what your degree is in. Auburn’s strengths lie in Engineering and Veterinary Medicine while Alabama has Buisness, Medicine, and Law.

Well I pretty much meet all the requirements for both schools so hopefully I have a good chance at getting in to Auburn!

Best of luck! But be warned, I hope you like football because I’ve never encountered two schools who hate each other so much
