<p>Dude, Take the Algebra II...What is the worst thing that can happen, you not getting an A? Then by all means, you'll already have the knowledge of Algebra I, so you will do great in that class. Plus, this will not affect your GPA one bit, so if this was me, I would do it in a heart beat. What suck is that my school does not give me such leniency with the GPA matter, you only get one shot.</p>

But you can retake class ;)</p>
<p>Some schools include both grades so that is not a good idea sometimes.</p>
<p>Belated thanks to Masterus and Wowser2010 for their thoughts on my
d's predicament. This is still bothering us and we are going to talk to
the school about it. Wowser is right about prep schools restricting
class size to only the top students, which I guess she was not.
But she got an honors grade (85) in an honors course and did great
on the final, which should be the determining factors. It's worth
getting to the bottom of it, as Masterus suggested. Thanks again,
